Allison, our associate photographer is at it again, capturing one of my favorite Minneapolis photography clients from last year – The beautiful Olson Family. Is this not the cutest family?? I can not believe how much Leighton has grown! Here is what Allison had to say..

I love to donate to charitys and organizations that use their money for a good cause. Volunteer work and donating is very close to me and such an important part of me and Lisa Slotsve Photography. This gorgeous family bid on a session in a silent auction to benefit Women’s Foundation of Minnesota. The bonus to that, is that the winner also happens to have been a very very close grade school friend in my home town of Williston, ND. It is so much fun to catch up on our old times and to see what an amazing wife, mother and career woman Erin has become. Her gorgeous girls and amazing husband have been so fun to get to know. I am so excited for them to see their sneak peek. Enjoy!
Could this little guy be any cuter? I mean really…look at those eyes. This blog post is going out a little late, but better late than never. I had so much fun working with this new, young family and can’t wait to see what they did with the prints to decorate their home. What a joy to photograph the Steen Family. They are relatively new to the Twin Cities area and have not had a custom photography session in the Cities before, so I felt very honored to work with them. As you can see, they are ADORABLE. Meet the Neitzell family! Wow are these children not only well behaved, beautiful little kids, they are quite photogenic also (of course, if you saw their parents you would know why!) Alexandra is a big sister to new little brother Andrew and what a pair they make. They are just the most adorable siblings together. We had a wonderful time photographing the children together, alone and as a family. I had the privilege of photographing Liesel for her senior portraits and what an honor when their family asked me out to do family fall portraits at their beautiful Lake Elmo home. I have to tell you, this is one amazing family. Their energy is addictive. They just have this rapport with each other that makes being around them a TON of fun. The first time I met them at their daughter’s ordering appt, I just loved being around them and this time was no different. Definitely the true definition of family. Meet the adorable amazing Lyon family. I have had the pleasure of working with them in the past and it just gets better and better. I have had such a fun time watching Petra grow up and capturing her beautiful face. I just can’t believe how fast time flys. This was a DREAM session. An amazing family that just wanted to have pictures of the children and the family playing together in the yard. The yard had toys and clothes and all kinds of dreamy stuff set up for our shoot, it was like walking into a Chasing Fireflies catalogue. We literally played and laughed and captured the children doing their favorite activities. Thank you so much to the Perri family for allowing me to capture these fun, vibrant family and children portraits. You were so fun to work with!
