Model Casting Call at Oh Baby with Lisa Slotsve Photography | Children’s Modeling Photographer in Minneapolis

I am so excited to be collaboraiting with the amazing and unique Children’s clothing Store in the Galleria in Edina Oh Baby! I am sure you have heard of them, they carry the most unqiue clothing, furniture and decor items around. Many of which would be great for your upcoming Minneapolis Children’s photo session with Lisa Slotsve

Bring your cutie or cuties to Oh Baby Galleria tomorrow for your child’s test shot. If chosen, they will be featured in an upcoming shoot that will be used for print and web …a concept shoot that will be sure to take your breath away.  See you tomorrow!

my how you have grown | Minneapolis Family Photographer

Allison, our associate photographer is at it again, capturing one of my favorite Minneapolis photography clients from last year – The beautiful Olson Family.  Is this not the cutest family?? I can not believe how much Leighton has grown!  Here is what Allison had to say..

“ Can you stand it? Aren’t these kids are the cutest?! They brightened up my day with their smiles and sweet personalities. Thanks to their mom and dad for letting me play along.- Allison”

Mentoring Kim | Minneapolis Photography Teacher

Where have I been? Well, for those of you that are photographers or clients, you know that this is our busiest time of the year. We are SWAMPED.  What have we been doing you ask that allows us to neglect our much loved blog?  Well, photo session, Holiday card designs and Mentoring of course. I still love to teach!  Here is a recent interview with another mentoree.  We had a great time and Kim is going to Rock that Nikon she shoots.  She spent an entire day with me, all while being a month a way from giving birth to her second child. I have no doubt we are going to see awesome images coming from Kim.

I am from:  Shoreview MN

Find my work at:  kimandbryans.blogspot.com

My biggest accomplishment this week was:  getting things done off the “to-do” list before baby number 2 comes

In my camera bag is:  Nikon D90, Nikon 50mm f/1.4,  Tamron 17-55mm f/2.8,  Nikon 35mm f/1.8

My recent favorite image is:  Anything I take of my 11 month old.  I just love capturing all his priceless expressions.

Our last family vacation was:  Breezy Point Resort this past July

What I loved about my mentor session with Lisa :  What can I say what didn’t I love.  Lisa is amazing.  She is so amazing.  I admire her work.  Her level of photography is so much higher than mine but she still made me feel comfortable.  She started back at square one for me and made it simple and fun.  I have learned so much from her and can’t wait to continue to learn more from her.  Lisa is so busy but still takes the time out of her busy day to teach people like me.  Need I say more:)

In 5 years I see myself:  knowing a lot more about photography than I do now.  Taking wondering pictures of my little ones, family and friends.  I will still be working as a nurse part-time and spending the rest of my time running after our children and enjoying life.

Amy & Amanda | JFK High School Senior Portraits

One of the most cost effective (and might I say fun) ways to do a senior session is to split it. We have many seniors who split sessions with their best friends. This allows them to hang out together, have fun while we are creating these memories and the sessions are always a blast!  Amy, Amanda and I had a blast photographing their senior photo session at the Sculpture Gardens in downtown Minneapolis. Here is the sneak peek. Thanks for the fun afternoon girls!
