Thankful…

I am thankful for so many things. A wonderful family, beautiful healthy children, my health, friends, a roof over my head, a thriving photography business..I could go on and on. I am sure most of you reading this feel the same way. I wanted to take this chance to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. To remind us all to be thankful for the big, and little things in our lives.  Lisa Slotsve Photography will be closed until Monday December 1st to spend time with those I am thankful for. Have a wonderful and save holiday!

Seriously….beautiful | Unique Senior Photography in the Twin Cities

Meet Carly…she is, as my title says..seriously beautiful! Both inside and out!  As you are going to see from the vast variety of high school senior pictures in downtown Minneapolis of Carly, we had an amazing time.

 

 

 She was a natural behind the camera. Her mom had even brought a picture from when Carly had her baby portraits taken and we replicated it for her as an adult. I thought that was a fantastic idea! I can not wait for them to see their unique high school senior portraits! Thank you so much for the fun morning!

I’m glad it worked out | Minneapolis Children’s Photographer Travel Session

Thank goodness for on the ball clients. This particular session was with a beautiful family that used to live in the Twin Cities and I had photographed one of thier close friends many times. The mom to these 2 beautiful children had tried to book a session a couple of times while they were visiting but I had already been booked. Well, I finally had a couple of openings and guess what, she drove all the way up from Iowa just for them!

Boy am I glad it worked out. Look at her amazingly beautiful children. What a fun, colorful and bright childrens photo session this was at the Minneapolis warehouse loft.  I just loved everything about this session from the lighting, the children, the clothing..and the mom (what a sweetie!)  Thank you for making the trip here!  Enjoy!

She’s Got Style | Senior Photographer in Lino Lakes Minnesota

Meet Lauren!  Another beautiful highschool senior from Centennial Highschool.  Lauren’s senior pictures were so fun to take. As you can see, Lauren has amazing style. We had such a wonderful time taking her senior pictures in downtown Stillwater.

It was the perfect eclectic little town to fit her eclectic style. I did not want this session to end. Not only does she have style, she is sweet, amazing, smart and all around fun to be with!  Thank you for such a wonderful and fun session!

I just adore her… | Hudson Wisconsin Childrens Photography

Meet little A. I adore photographing A. and her family. First of all, she is the sweetest little girl (takes after her mom!) second, she is has the best little style (another thing she gets from her mom!) You may recognize her from a couple of other posts on my blog throughout the past year.

This is one of my favorite images from the session, isn’t it so beautiful how you can see little A’s reflection in the window!

This session was especially fun because we included her little puppy. They are such good friends.  Thank you again K. Family for inviting me to capture your special memories and for making the trip into downtown from Hudson Wisconsin!

Kelsey | Unique Location Minneapolis Metro Senior Photography

Amazing Family.. ” | family photographer in Minnesota

I would like you to meet the L. Family.   My children are very close in age to little O. and J.  and they met in preschool.  They are no longer in preschool together, but I feel so lucky to call this family close friends. They are generous, thoughtful and just an all around wonderful family!  This was one of my favorites (among many!)  Are they not just the most beautiful, photogenic family!  You may recognize these adorable children from my blog header (it changes on reloading), my website or even in some of my commercial work around town!  Thank you Steve and Sonja for allowing me to capture your wonderful family for the second year!  I feel so honored.

Cassie | High School Senior Photography in Minnesota

You may have seen Cassie here before, I have been fortunate enough to photograph her for her senior sessions, as well as for a past family photo session and even for Cassie’s headshots for modeling. She has been in Target ads, a book and much more. Cassie is WAY MORE than just another pretty face…she is an athletic all star in more than one sport – LaCrosse and Hockey, she is a great student and she is an amazing babysitter (I should know, my kids ask for her all the time).  

I cant believe Cassie will be graduating from High School soon. Here is to one great year. Thanks for letting me take your graduation photos!

Katy | Mahtomedi Senior Pictures Photography

Meet Katy, we did her senior pictures at a park in Mahtomedi and it was a beautiful day. A classic red haired girl among the changing leaves. It was a dream come true!  Doesn’t she look like a movie star. Her skin was amazing.  She is another wonderful, sweet senior and I was so blessed to meet her and photograph her senior portraits
