Are They Triplets?? (and sharing a popular product)

Nope, not triplets (twins though)..but they sure looked like it.  I had the honor of photographing these beautiful twins and their wonderful big sister this winter.  We had such an amazing session at the downtown Minneapolis Photography studio.  It felt more like play than work! My Minneapolis Children’s Photography business has had quite the run on twins lately.  I have been photographing a set of twins almost weekly for the last month. It must be my own twin karma. My twin sister lives in Portland, Oregon, which feels like a world away at times, so I absolutely love the twin moments I have been allowed to capture lately.

I wanted to share their “baby blocks” canvas and use this as an opportunity to share one of my most popular products. It is a series of 3 10×20 (in this case 10×12) canvases that can be displayed throughout your home to showcase one or all of your children. This is by far our most popular canvas product at Lisa Slotsve Modern Children’s Photography.

These pictures show it displayed, as well as closer so you can see the amazing detail on how these canvases wrap around the image, and become lifelong works of art.

I couldn’t just share the products though, I have to show more from this fun session with the E. family.   I can’t wait until next time!

Sweet Baby C.

Meet little man C.

I could eat him up (I told his mom this). This little guy is lucky he got to leave the Minneapolis studio, I mean, I could have photographed him all day! It’s as if little C. knew he was being a dream model. He would smile, pose, change outfits..smile, pose and start all over. It was love at first site!  I can not wait to watch little C. grow into the amazing little boy I can already tell he is.  Thanks for the trip to the studio!

a baby and a skyway

the conversation goes something like this….

”let’s do pictures in the red skyway downtown minneapolis and then go to my trendy hair place and do some there..it has this great floor, and a large barn door..”

the rest I can’t remember because I was thinking….uhmmmm. YES!!  (I mean, who wouldn’t want to do portraits of a 9 month old in downtown Minneapolis skyway system. It is this modern Twin Cities Portrait photographers dream!)  I love it that my clients are creative. I also love that I get to follow most of these adorable little blessings – like Ms. R. through thier precious life. Little Ms. R. is part of my baby plan and these were her 9 month pictures.  Time flies when your having fun.

(Neighbors)

sometimes..when you are my neighbor..and  it’s snowing…and I’m a photographer, and I take your picture..you end up on my (blog).  Oh how I love my neighbors.  Isn’t the whole concept behind neighbors wonderful! Someone to hang out with, pull you out of the ditch (well, hypothetically, if you were to ever go around a snowy corner quickly) someone to take pictures of on a beautiful snowy Minnesota day.  Meet my neighbors.. Whitty and  Ms. T.  You guys are the best!  (can I borrow some sugar??)
